About Myself
Industrial designer with 5+ years industry experience within the airport security & catering equipment industries. Accomplished CAD design engineer with a passion for creative problem solving and implementation of robust design solutions for effective, streamlined manufacturing systems. Additional skills include production and design team management, website UI/UX, graphic design and product rendering, client liaison and presentation experience.
Over the next 5 years I hope to join a creative team in an exciting design environment, with the possibility of developing my design and management experience, client interaction and team involvement
In the next 10 years I hope to develop my career with additional responsibilities include team leading and project management for a multinational company with the opportunity for worldwide business.
In my personal life I am looking to the short term goals of buying a home and experiencing more travel holidays before settling down to start a family. Alongside a successful career I plan to develop my hobbies of electronics and programming with some fun home focused projects for my family.

I joined the Merrychef NPI team in September 2019. My role consists of working with the engineering, manufacturing and implementation teams to generate new design developments through the use of testing and design tools such and DFMEA, ongoing long-term lab testing, as well as working with current product lines to implement improvement to the Merrychef produce range.

2016 - 2019
When I joined Fast Food Systems as design engineer my role was very varied, taking full advantage of my early design and management experience. Initially focused on improving the entire design and production support systems and procedures, bringing the design department up to date. This included the need to update and improve the design and drawings for the current line of products in the Vizu range. I improved and imported all the material and labour details into the MRP system exact. I was responsible for designing and drawing all the new products and bespoke layouts for customers, as well as re-draws for existing products.

2018 - 2019
In addition to the classic Design Engineer role, I was responsible for a project to produce a new website for Fast Food Systems Vizu product range and as a result, learned and used WordPress. I built a further 2 new websites; SFC Express and FFS Brands Ingredients, and was ultimately responsible for overseeing the design on the new Southern Fried Chicken Website.
I became manager of the new Graphic Designer and subsequently the Kitchen Designer was also brought into my team.

For my first role out of university I was lucky enough to begin my career working in Norfolk for Herbert systems. The company was comprised of 2 parts; agricultural machinery and airport security systems, which was the department I joined, working on 3 main projects.
The first was a Luxury security lane for Schipol airport to ensure that First and Business Class passengers enjoyed an opulent and more pleasurable security experience & environment.
The second project area was the ongoing design and implementation of standardised security lane modules for numerous international airports.
The third main project area was a different modern scandinavian style design of security lanes for Oslo airport.
