Modular Airport Security Systems
During my time at Herbert Systems, I was lucky enough to be able to work on the word leading modular airport security system known as Herbert ARTS.
I worked on a large number of these modules performing various updates and design developments. The below modules are the ones I was able to make the most substantial design developments to in my time at Herbert Systems.
Parallel Divest Module

Improvements Made
- Added location references for fabricated upper section
- Incorporated folded lazer cut box tube for ease of assembly and fabrication
- Improved fit of all components to aid assembly
- Took note of how the module was being used and adjusted sensor locations
Mitre Module

Improvements Made
- Curved section completely remodel to improve assembly fit
- Interior guides re-design to prevent trays from getting stuck on the curve
- Improved fit of all components to aid assembly

Search Bench

Improvements Made
- Re-design based on modular design allowing multiple configurations
- top RFID sensor housing for tray detection for X-Ray image prompt
- Screen pillar with rugged adjustable screen mounts
- Internal lower sections modified to allow hatches and cable routing
